Lady Gaga in Manila

If you want more fans and followers in a non-conventional concert, art work, or movie?  Simple, ask the Church to discourage viewers!  It is a sure guarantee that people will come.

The 2-night Lady Gaga concert ended as one (or two) of the most successful concerts in the Philippines.  Both days were sold out, and 90,000 Pinoys did buy tickets with many of them paying 15,000P a ticket.

Archbishop Arguelles said " her fans are in danger of falling into the clutches of Satan."

What the hell!  Ooops.

To which Lady Gaga said, before performing the controversial Judas:

"I am not a creature of your government Manila.  Tonight is all about togetheness!  In our differences we are all the same.  People need to be free to be who they are."

This is the song that gathered the most criticism among Roman Catholic leaders around the world. In the Philippines, ArchbishopRamon Arguelles said “her fans are in danger of falling into the clutches of Satan.”

“I am not a creature of your government Manila. Tonight is all about togetherness! In our differences we are all the same. People need to be free to be who they are.”
