- Ditse nag-Dye!
So may I pagawa na lang siya ng sariling gown, with new tela and new design. At nag-diet pa raw siya sa lagay nun!
- Brand New SUV
Meron pang TV at GPS. How sosi naman.

Best Restaurants in Asia and the Philippines
Good news is that 2 Filipino restaurants made it to the highly-prestigious Miele Guide this year. At #17 is Antonio's at Tagaytay and at #18 is Aubergine.
Antonio's at Tagaytay was already in the list last year, so great to see it again this year. Antonio's is famous for its mouth-watering steaks. It is rather expensive though =). Be prepared to pay ~P2,000 per person. Example: Grilled Pepper Sirloin Steak is around P1,600, and their famous appetizer sampler is P1,500. Pero again it is really worth it.
Aubergine, sabi na nga ba is #2 best restaurant in the Philippines. Na-blog na rin dati ito. Sobrang OK talaga dito, and I foresee this moving up in this list. Here is the previous post: http://pamilyabanal.blogspot.com/2009/08/aubergine.html
Rounding up the Top 5 restos in the Philippines are:
#3) Mamou @ Serendra. Dito di masyado mahal. Very creative menu including a personal favorite duck meal. Some of their meals are the "Toppings"-type, so really simple pero masarap. Ah, nga pala merong seating hours dito ha. Yes!, parang sine. So di ka basta-basta papasok na lang.
#4) Abe @ Serendra. One of the best restaurants offering regional Filipino cuisine.
#5) Sala near British Embassy and PLDT Office in Makati. I am pleasantly surprised that this made the list. But deservingly so. Not many people know about this place. Pag nagawi kayo sa area, must try. At tawagan nyo ko, para kain tayo.
Puro South ang Top 5 restos in the Philippines.

I have a brand new shirt, brand new tie, brand new belt, and brand new shoes. Asteeeg! Ang suit ko di masyado brand new hehe. I have an ash-colored suit. I wear black/dark suit on evening affairs. Eto umaga na nga garden setting pa. At saka di bagay ang black sa aking pink shirt and pink and blue tie, hahaha.
Malamang mag-hotel kami Friday night. At since sobrang aga ng kasal, wala talaga kaming pag-asang umabot on time, considering the SLEX traffic.
I agree, exciting talaga ang Church Procession.

RP MATH aces get 100%, near perfect scores in Aussie tilt
MANILA, Philippines—A sophomore student of St. Stephen’s High School in Sta. Cruz, Manila, got a perfect score while 13 other young Filipino numbers aces registered scores of over 99.7 percent in the tough 2009 Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC).
Julius Vincent Sy was one of only 20 students worldwide who scored 100 percent in this year’s AMC.
For his feat, Sy received a medal and a Peter O’ Halloran certificate during Tuesday’s AMC awarding ceremonies at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel in Pasay City.
Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano and Dr. Peter Taylor, executive director of the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT) which runs the AMC, were special guests.
The 13 other Filipino topnotchers in the AMC were Amiel Sy and Emiliano Tan from Philippine Science High School-Main, Justin Edric Yturzaeta from Jubilee Christian Academy, John Russell Virata from Gideon Academy, Alvin Uy Lim from Quezon City Science High School, and Seanne Ng, Adrian Sy, Czarina Lao and Audrey Lao from St. Jude Catholic School.
Lormes Pedeglorio from Butuan City Special Education Center, Miguel Lorenzo Ildesa from Paref-Westbridge School, Jake Gacuan from the University of the Philippines, and Aldric Cristobal Reyes from Chiang Kai Shek College.
Fifty-six other students also won top honors in the AMC, which was held simultaneously in August in Australia and 35-plus other countries worldwide, including the Philippines.
Administered in RP
More than 2,000 Filipino elementary and high school students took part in the AMC, which was administered in the Philippines by AMT representatives, Mathematics Trainers’ Guild-Philippines (MTG) and the Science Education Institute of the Department of Science and Technology.
“We at MTG are very proud of the latest achievements of our trainees. This goes to show that many Filipino students are really talented in Math,” said Dr. Simon Chua, MTG cofounder and president.
MTG wards
Most of the local contestants are MTG wards. Some of them will represent the country in the Philippine International Math Competitions scheduled for late November in Iloilo City. The first AMC, held in 1976, was limited to Australian students. Two years later, students from New Zealand were allowed to join the contest.
Since 2005, the competition has spread to more than 35 nations all over the world, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Bulgaria, Germany, South Africa and the People’s Republic of China.
The contest paper consists of 30-multiple choice questions, which are ordered in increasing difficulty. Students are given 75 minutes to solve the problems which cover arithmetic, algebra, geometry and problem-solving.
