Maybe you think it was Tiyong who ends up winning the Kalabasa awards this year. YOU ARE WRONG. Last year, si Tiyong and Ate Yet won the kalabasa awards. This year, we have new awardees. Here they are:
5th Place: TITO AYO (Average: 149.33)
2nd place after Game 1, Tito Ayo just faltered and faltered after Games 2 & 3. Ang sabi niya, may sipon at ubo raw siya. What a lousy excuse. Hahaha.
4th Place: KEVIN (Average: 146)
Inferness to Kevin, this is only his 2nd time to play in the Adults division. Pero yun na nga, mataas ang expectation sa kanya. So yes a disappointing 2009 performance for the 1-time Kids division champ.
3rd Place: JAYE (Average: 145.33)
This is El Presidente's 2nd time to play the PB Tournament. So baka nga hindi pa accurate ang Handicap nya. Pero he has a great potential in the future, sa dapat sali lagi si Mr. President para maging consistent.
And now, the 2009 PB Bowling Kalabasa Awardee goes to...
Oh we have a tie...
1st Place: TITA HELEN (Average: 144.33)
This was a surprise to me, because Tita Helen was really bowling well, and so we thought. May kinalaman din kasi ito sa good performances niya the past 2 years kaya bumaba ang handicap nya. Pero yes, definitely a not-normal bowling score for Tita Helen this year.
1st Place: TITO IDO (Average: 144.33)
Never before has a team captain won the Kalabasa award. Ito ang dahil kung bakit asa pusali ang team nila. 3 of the 4 team members are in the Kalabasa roster.
Talagang bilog ang bowling ball, minsan may trophy minsan may kalabasa. At sabi nga ni Tito Ido: OK lang mangalabasa, at least I am in good company with Tita Helen =).
So next year, ang advantage ng mga Kalabasa ay tataas ang handicap nila. Till 2010 PB BOwling.

parang score ko lng last year yun at nakabawi naman ako ds year... injured kasi ako last yr kaya mababa score ko... meron pa naman nxt yr para bumawi...hehehe

saka nagpapataas ng handicap pero sa kasamaang palad, "3" pa din.
ACCEPTANCE SPEECH:
Salamat sa award (at least meron, kahit may ka-tie, si tito Ido). Tama si Tito Ido, bilog ang bola, minsan may trophy minsan kalabasa (hehe:)).
Pero sa totoo lang, hindi ako natuwa sa scores ko, nakakahiya kay tito Egay (babawi ako sa susunod na magka-team tayo.. kelan kaya yun? :))
Pero kailangan talaga me praktis, (sabi nga sa Outliers ni Gladwell, 10,000 hours to excel:D)
kaya uumpisahan ko na ngayon pa lang hehe.

hi PB...kainggit ung PB bowling nyo... sana kung makauwi kami next year, i hope makasali kami sa bowling tournament nyo. Pwede ba advance ung tournament, kesa close to Christmas ginagawa? Kahit kalabasa ang makuha ko... enjoy pa din un for sure, kasi with PB.
