Pasukan
Excited na kayo sa pagpasok sa school? For some, it will be in 3 days, for some in 10 days.

Friday, Traffic, Sale
Sale everywhere in the metro tomorrow, Friday. Expect traffic almost everywhere. SM has a sale in 8 metro branches, and so will Robinson's. Pati na rin Ayala Malls at Podium.
If you want to go shopping for the 3-day weekend sale at Midnight Madness, then Friday ang best. At based on feedback, Ayala Malls have the best sales - especially sa mga medium to high-end brands. Robinson's generally have good sales. SM is hit and miss. Meron silang stores on good sale - up to 70% - pero marami parang pinapalitan lang ang presyo.
Good Luck on shopping. And be ready for heavy, heavy traffic everywhere.

B...Cebu
Had a great time in Cebu. Naisip namin to skip Boracay this time, kasi ang daming tao dun at ang daming scandals recently. Cebu is a city, a beach, a wonderful place with wonderful people.
Here are Top 10 Things about the Cebu trip. Pics are in PB Summer Slide Show on the right.
1. Crown Regency Suites at Mactan island. We decided to stay at Mactan, kasi malapit sa beach. Tapos, we found this nice hotel na sobrang mura compared sa iba. We paid less than 3,000 pesos a night - for 4 people. Our hotel room had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 TVs. Sobrang lapit sa swimming pool at sa restaurant. So everything you need. The breakfast buffet was also good.
2. Butterfly Sanctuary. 1-hour away from the city, makikita ang first and one of the few butterfly sanctuary and museum sa buong Pilipinas. Astig.
3. Lechon Cebu. There is lechon but there is Lechon Cebu. Tulad ng nirekomenda ng mga friends namin from Cebu - we had to try CnT Lechon. Unbelievable taste! Di na kelangan ng sauce.
4. Su-To-Kil. Dito nagsimula ang mga paluto restaurants. Since very fresh ang mga seafoods, ang sarap ng pagkain. We had kilawin tanigue. We also had the freshest crabs at siyempre - Scallops na fresh na fresh.
5. Friendly People. Very accomodating and very hospitable people everywhere. We rented a "private chauffeur", para comfortable ang pamamasyal. At ang driver namin na si Ricky ay very efficient(laging on time) at really friendly. Mura pang maningil (syempre tinawaran namin).
6. The Beach. We went to the Tambuli beach for lunch and the beach. Medyo mahal ang presyo so cannot recommend 100%. Pero the beach is fantastic - white sand & calm waters. The food at Tambuli was not good thoughat mahal pa, so please choose another beach resort.
7. History. You appreciate the country's history seeing the huge golden Lapu-Lapu statue. Magellan's Cross is nice. The Sto. Nino Shrine is also majestic.
8. Taoist Temple. More on location kaya siya maganda.
9. Philippine Airlines. Our trip to and from Manila were on-time, OK one was 5 minutes late. Going back to Manila we only paid 1,200 per person, sobrang sulit.
10. Weather. Sobrang init. Pero kesa naman umulan at bumaha. Pag-gabi na, the best ang Cebu so we also enjoyed the nightlife - dining at Waterfront and then sa Fifties restaurant.
In summary, we had a great time in Cebu. Pag may extrang pera, consider Cebu.

Studio Apartments for rent

Lotto
Malamang aabot yan ng 150 Million next time.
Sayang e.
Imbestigador?
Remember the P1-M “reward” money Sharon Cuneta put up last year for whoever could produce “hard evidence” (pictures, etc.) that her husband, Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, has a mistress?
Sharon Cuneta is even willing to raise the amount to — hold your breath — P10-M because she said she knows fully well, convinced beyond any doubt, that the rumor is the product of an evil mind’s wild imagination.
“In this age of the Internet and sophisticated cellphones,” said Sharon during a one-on-one with Funfare the other day after the press launch of her new album Children’s Rhymes and Lullabies (released by Sony Music), “how come nobody is producing any proof?”
The “old issue” was casually brought up during the one-on-one because Kiko has already announced his intention to run for vice president in the 2010 elections, again as an Independent like he did in 2007 when he ran for reelection.
Parang madali lang ito a.

Charice
US single niya - Note to God.
Eto ang Top 10 as of 5/19.
1. Boom Boom Pow - Black Eyed Peas
2. Waking Up In Vegas - Katy Perry
3. Fire Burning - Sean Kingston
4. Note to God - Charice
5. I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)
6. Poker Face - Lady GaGa
7. New Divide - Linkin Park
8. Don't Trust Me - 3OH!3
9. Sugar (feat. Wynter) - Flo Rida
10. Halo - Beyoncé

True Story daw ito?
A 70-year old ‘lolo’ from the province was accompanied by a grandson to the US Embassy in Manila for his VISA interview.
The lolo spoke not a word of English so the grandson translated for him.
The Consul told the young man to ask his grandfather why he wanted to go to the States.
“Bakit daw ho ninyo gustong pumunta sa Amerika?” The grandson translated.
“He said he wants to see his children there.”
Fair enough, that’s what the lolo’s application indicated.
The Consul had another question. “Ask him why does he have to go there? Why can’t his children just come and visit him here?” The grandson translated this in Tagalog.
(Translation: “Tell him, my children were born here. They’ve seen the Philippines already. I just want to see America before I die.”)
The HEARTLESS Consul was unimpressed as he declared, devoid of any motion, that he was rejecting the visa application “because the applicant was unable to speak any word of English.”
“Reject daw yung visa ninyo kasi hindi daw kayo marunong mag-Ingles.”
The lolo was equally unimpressed.
Translated, “He said: You son of a @&$^^%*, how come you are here… you do not know how to speak in Tagalog!?”
Taken aback, sense of humor still intact, the consul relented and approved lolo’s visa application in pronto.
go LoLo…mabuhay ang Pinoy!!!

Kaliwete
Example: Notebook na di spring.
Barack Obama
si Bart Simpson =)
Kurt Cobain, Phil Collins
Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts

Office day yun e lunch time.
Haha. iyong vocalist ng The Dawn.

Mesa
Last night, kumain kami sa Mesa - Filipino Moderne restaurant sa Greenbelt 5. Hmmmm. Since ang dami naming inorder, merong OK, pero maraming sablay.
The best ang Crisprichon - na ginawang parang peking duck served 2 ways. One was sauteed in chilli garlic. Iyong pangalawa, ginawa parang lumpia. Grabe sobra talagang sarap.
Sobrang greasy, at sobrang mahal =(. So could not recommend this restaurant.

Left or Right?
For Evot and Chiarisse:
The wedding ring
In Western cultures a wedding ring is traditionally worn on the ring finger. This developed from the Roman "annulus pronubis" when the man gave a ring to the woman at the betrothal ceremony. According to tradition in some countries (derived from Roman belief), the wedding ring is worn on the left ring finger because the vein in the left ring finger, referred to as the vena amoris was believed to be directly connected to the heart, a symbol of love.
Blessing the wedding ring and putting it on the bride's finger dates from the 11th century. In medieval Europe, the Christian wedding ceremony placed the ring in sequence on the index, middle, and ring fingers of the left hand, representing the trinity — God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit respectively. The ring was then left on the ring finger. In a few European countries, the ring is worn on the left hand prior to marriage, then transferred to the right during the ceremony. For example, a Greek Orthodox bride wears the ring on the left hand prior to the ceremony, then moves it to the right hand after the wedding. In England, the 1549 Prayer Book declared "the ring shall be placed on the left hand". By the 17th and 18th centuries the ring could be found on any finger after the ceremony - even on the thumb.
In Norway, Russia, Bulgaria, Poland, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Latvia, some countries of former Yugoslavia and in Spain (except in Catalonia) the wedding ring is worn on the ring finger of the right hand. In the Netherlands, Protestants traditionally wear their engagement ring on the ring finger of the left hand, and their wedding ring on the ring finger the right hand (a practice which is also widespread in Germany), whereas Roman Catholics do the opposite. In the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium, the wedding ring on the ring finger of the left hand is traditional among Roman Catholics living in the provinces of West Flanders and East Flanders and in part of Limburg, but not elsewhere.
In the Jewish wedding ceremony, the groom places the ring on the bride's index finger, and not ring finger; the ring is usually moved to the ring finger after the ceremony.
In the Indian tradition, the left hand is considered inauspicious. Hence the wedding ring is worn on the right hand. However, despite tradition, some wear the ring on the left hand, matching cultural practice in some western countries.
********************

8 Secrets of the truly Rich
This is an excerpt from the book: "8 Secrets of the truly Rich"
I've met many Filipinos who have been programmed to be poor.
Their very self-definition shouts to the universe, "I'm poor and I'll always be poor." This twisted core identity, plus insane religious beliefs about money, are like invisible prison bars that keep many Filipinos locked in poverty.
My mission is to free you from that prison. For over 25 years, I've been working among the poor, living in their homes and helping them get out of poverty. I've found out that no matter how much money people receive, unless they change their inner program, nothing happens. They will indeed remain poor forever.
Friend, do you have a money problem?
Read carefully: 90 percent of your money problems are mind problems.People are not poor because they have no money. That's merely the result, not the cause of poverty. Filipinos are poor because of a lethal combination of three giant monsters of poverty.
First, we really don't want to be rich.
As shocking as this may sound, it's true. Externally, we seeem to want to be rich, but internally, we're deeply conflicted in our unconscious desires. Because our distorted core beliefs about ourselves, plus our crazy religious beliefs about money, chain us to the prison of poverty.
Second, we're finally stupid. (That's putting it mildly.)
We don't know how money works. And we don't know how money grows. So we lose whatever little we have. Because what we know about money comes from friends and relatives who don't have money themselves - and so, they teach us from their ignorance. And school never taught us how money worked, either, because teachers didn't know.
Third, we insist on walking, instead of riding, vehicle towards wealth.
To be continued...

CANYON COVE
So 4 ang room nmin.
Nag check-out na kmi.
Bye!

Biyaya ng Dagat
Dahil meron tayong more than 7,100 islands, marami talaga tayong yaman at biyaya na galing sa dagat.
Inggit kayo no? hahaha

Congratulations for winning Starbucks!

@ialising what's in karuizawa?
Hello po Tito Ido. I saw your message on twitter.
Hehe.
May picture rin po ako nung bakery. 〓
