Napuri ang Pilipinas sa pagliligtas sa mahigit sa 200 dolphins sa Bataan...MAHUSAY!

(CNN) -- Authorities in the Philippines managed Tuesday to drive back to sea a pod of about 200 dolphins that had swarmed to shallow waters in Manila Bay.

The government was patrolling the beach area to see whether the melon-head dolphins would return, said Malcolm Sarmiento, director of the Philippines' Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.

The dolphins were spotted Tuesday morning about a mile offshore near the townships of Pilar and Orion in Bataan province, he said. Volunteers and rescue workers kept them from beaching and used about 20 boats Tuesday afternoon to push them back toward deeper waters.
"What impressed me most with this situation is that the local fishermen played a major role in preventing the mass group from getting on the beach compared to the past, when they have killed the dolphins for food," Sarmiento said. "Through education and cooperation efforts, they worked very hard to push them back into the wild."

Sarmiento said it was the first time he could remember that so many dolphins entered the bay. He said authorities were trying to figure out what caused the strange behavior.
The dolphins may have headed toward the bay for two reasons: moving away from an underwater quake, which could have injured their eardrums, or following a sick or wounded leader, Sarmiento said.

Singer Chris Brown, sought by Los Angeles police after an alleged domestic violence incident, turned himself in Sunday, police said. Chris Brown attends a party saluting music producer Clive Davis in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday.

Brown, nominated for two Grammy Awards, was a no-show Sunday night at the nationally televised awards show. He was scheduled to perform at the show.His girlfriend, singer Rihanna, abruptly canceled her planned Grammys performance, but neither her spokesman nor the show organizers gave a reason.

Police have not identified the alleged victim, who they said "suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."

The police statement said Brown and a woman were in a vehicle near Hollywood's Hancock Park when "they became involved in an argument."

"After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated," police said.

After receiving a 911 call at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, officers found the woman at the scene of the alleged fight, but Brown had left, the department said. Investigators were treating the incident as a possible felony battery case, police said. Executives with Brown's record label at the Grammy Awards told CNN they knew nothing about the incident and declined further comment.
Brown was nominated for two Grammys this year, including in the best male R&B vocal performance category for his song "Take You Down."

He also shares a best pop collaboration with vocals nomination with Jordin Sparks for "No Air."
The introduction to the CBS broadcast of the Grammys, apparently pre-taped, listed both Brown and Rihanna as performers.

Si Pia ang diretsong nagtanong kay Marian tungkol sa sinabi ng direktor nila sa Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang na si Joyce Bernal. Sabi kasi ni Direk Joyce kina Dingdong at Marian:

"Umamin na kasi kayo!" Ano ba ang ibig sabihin ni Direk Joyce dun?

"Hindi... Kasi si Direk talaga, palaging nagbibiro ‘yan, palaging nang-aasar sa amin. Kahit na noong dati pa sa Marimar, ‘Uy, bagay kayo! Uy, ganito!' So, hindi ako magtataka kung bakit sinasabi niyang ganyan. Talagang nang-aasar ka, Direk!" sabi ni Marian.

Pero nag-follow-up question si Rufa Mae kay Dingdong kung joke lang ba talaga yung sinabi ni Direk Joyce. At, sila na ba talaga?

Ani Dingdong, "Alam mo, hindi ko ipagkakaila kung anuman ang meron kami ngayon. At kung anuman yun, I'd like to keep it that way. Pero siyempre, lumalabas kami, oo naman.


Si Rufa Mae ang sumunod na nagtanong. Ang tanong niya ay tungkol sa regalo ni Marian kay Dingdong na mamahaling relo (Omega). Ani Marian, "OO, totoo ‘yan... Sige na, magsasalita na ako kasi nakakaaawa na si Dingdong, e. Sabi n'yo kasi palaging picture frame ang ibinibigay ni Dingdong sa akin. Naaawa na ako! Pero ang talagang ibinigay niya sa akin, itong suot ko!

"So, Sweet asked, yung singsing ba o yung bracelet?"Itong bracelet. E, kasi, puro picture frame na lang ang sinasabi niya. Pero, sasabihin ko na talaga ang totoo, ito talaga. Although, may picture frame talaga at saka ito.

"Tanong naman ni Pia, ano naman ang sinabi ni Dingdong noong ibinigay niya ang bracelet kay Marian?"Akin na lang yun," sagot ni Marian. "Pero noong ibinigay niya ‘to, may sinabi siya noong ibinigay niya sa akin at naiyak ako.

"Obviously, hindi rin naipagtapat ni Dingdong kung ano ang totoong sinabi niya. Instead, nakangiti nitong sinabi na "Merry Christmas" daw ang sabi niya kay Marian.
