Andyan din ang Heavy Metal (Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath), Christian Rock (Jars of Clay), Punk Rock (THe Clash), New Wave (Duran Duran, Dire Straits), Glam Metal (Guns N Roses), Alternative Rock (REM, The Cure).
Syempre sumikat din ang Grunge (Nirvana), Pop-Punk(Green Day), Indie Rock (Beck), Rap Rock (Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine), Emo (Fallout Boy, Paramore).

Actually, medyo purists nga ang mga rakista. Bilang lover ng rock music, agree ako dito. Maraming mga kanta at singers na ayaw naming tawaging rock. Simula nung 90's, kasama na rin sa Rock Music ang ska at reggae.
Mahirap i-classify ang rock music. Mahirap sabihin kung ang kanta ba ay rock music o hindi. Ako nga nasasabi ko lang ang music kung rock, depende kung pinapatugtog sa NU107 o sa Pinoy Underground105. Kung hindi pinapatugtog - di iyong rock music.
