1st PB PressCon - PB Outing Part4

Ang dami talagang firsts sa PB this 2009...including the first ever Press COnference. Idea ito ni Ate Yet dahil nga aalis na si Ia for Japan.

After lunch, we decided to start with the Press Con. Si Tito Jorge and Tita Helen muna ang sumagot ng mga unang questions.

1st question came from Tita Yet: She asked about logistical arrangements for Ia. She also asked kung "marunong na bang tumawid si Ia".


Note: Seryoso talaga si Shiela sa lunch niya.

2nd question came from Tita Bhogs, and she asked about 'why Japan'.

Next question is from Tito Jim. He made a comment on Tito Jorge's prior answer. He challenged "maabot mo lang yan kung matalino ka".

Tito Jorge answered Tito Jim's comment: he said NO. It requires more hardwork, patience and discipline, more than 'talino'. Not sure if Tito Jim was convinced, to the delight of the audience.

Next question was from Ditse. Actually di naman question, more on bilin. "Since 5 years ka dun, maalalala mo pa ba kami (at ang pabango) dito?"

This time Tito Jim why Ia's course is Economics, when Japan is more popular for Technology.

Tito Jorge answered Tito Jim's question: that Japan is the 2nd biggest economy in the world behind only the US, and related his admiration for the Japanese way of management having worked in Sharp (Japanese managed company).

Around 30 minutes after, naanyayahan na namin si Ia to join her PressCon.

This time Tita Helen was explaining the difference and similarities between the Japanese and the Pinoy culture.

Akala ko dito na papatak ang luha sa kaliwang mata ni Tita Helen, while she was answering Tita Edith's question about "nalulungkot" at "hahayaang mag-isa si Ia".

Finally, nakapag-salita rin si Ia. Sumagot naman siya ng 3 questions, including "HOw do you feel" from Tita Yet.

Pero sa picture, she was answering the question "Ano ba talaga ang plan, na yan"? To which she explained that since she was a kid, she already wanted to be a CEO of a large muti-national company. She declared that winning the scholarship was a big milestone towards her plan.
